What mums say about us:

“Great program with one of the most amazing teachers! Mariela helped us so much with many activities, songs, massage and many many other stuff that we can also try at home. She is well educated and extensively explains how each activity helps the natural development of the child. My little girl enjoys all these, she gets stronger and also socialises from such a young age (5 months old now) with other babies. This was a great term and we are looking forward to the next one. I definitely recommend KindyROO!”

About our KindyROO Cyprus Educator:

Hello everyone.

My name is Valando. An early year’s teacher with a passion for nurturing young minds. Certified as a Kindyroo instructor, I find immense joy in guiding children aged 2 months to 6 years old through their developmental journey. My dedication to early childhood education springs from a lifelong love for children and a desire to make a positive impact in their lives.

My journey in education has led me to explore various philosophies and approaches, from Montessori to Waldorf, each enriching my understanding of child development. Through Kindyroo, I’ve delved deeper into the intricacies of physical development, recognizing movement as a vital component of holistic learning.

I’ve come to recognize that authentic education expands beyond conventional subjects like numeracy and literacy. It involves nurturing confidence, supporting emotional health, and fostering physical growth. Physical development often doesn’t receive the attention it deserves, yet it’s crucial in a child’s life. Movement is fundamental to learning, a concept I deeply believe in. If we aim for children to become self-assured individuals ready to face challenges in school and beyond, we must provide them with appropriate stimulation and surroundings. Just as muscles strengthen through exercise, so does the brain’s cellular structure. The more physical activity the brain experiences, the more it develops in size and complexity. My involvement with the Kindyroo program has reinforced my belief in the significance of physical activities for holistic child development. From stimulating the vestibular system to enhancing body awareness and fostering sensory-motor integration, incorporating activities like dance and music enriches the learning journey and contributes to a child’s overall wellness.

Being an early year’s teacher and a Kindyroo instructor, is a blessing in so many ways. Each day, I’m privileged to witness the wonder and excitement that children bring into the classroom. Their eager minds soak up knowledge like sponges, and it’s incredibly fulfilling to guide them through moments of discovery and seeing them flourish, which fills me with pride and gratitude. It’s a calling of mine, to shape young minds, and I cherish every hug, smile, and milestone achieved along the way.

For me, being an early year’s educator isn’t just a profession—it’s a vocation fueled by love, passion, and the unwavering belief in the potential of every child.
